Re-installing Your State Program

  1. Windows users:
    1. Open your H&R Block At Home federal program.
    2. From the Tools menu, select Re-install State Program.
    3. Select the state you want to re-install.
    4. Follow the on-screen prompts to re-install your state program.

  2. To re-install your state from within H&R Block At Home:

    1. Navigate to the following folder: ~/Library/Application Support/H&RBlock2009/ where ~ indicates your home folder.
    2. Click on the <State>.bundle file to select it, where <State> is the 2-letter abbreviation for your state. For example: CA.bundle.
    3. Delete the <State>.bundle file you selected by choosing Move to Trash from the Finders's File Menu.
    4. Navigate to the following folder: ~/Library/Application Support/H&RBlock2009/Completed Updates, where ~ indicates your home folder.
    5. Double-click the .dmg file for the state you want to reinstall.
    6. Double-click the <State>.bundle file, where <State> is the 2-letter abbreviation for your state. For example: CA.bundle.
    7. Follow the on-screen prompts to reinstall your state program.


    Note: If you have deleted the ~/Library/Application Support/H&RBlock2009/Completed Updates folder, you cannot reinstall your state program. Contact customer support for assistance re-installing your state program.

    To reinstall the state program you downloaded and purchased from our Web site:

    1. Navigate to the folder where you stored the downloaded file (*.dmg).
    2. Note: If you downloaded a state from our online store, the .dmg file is not placed in the ~/Library/Application Support/Completed Updates folder.
    3. Double-click the <State>.dmg file, where <State> is the 2-letter abbreviation for the state you want to reinstall.
    4. Double-click the <State>.bundle file, where <State> is the 2-letter abbreviation for the state you want to reinstall. For example: CA.bundle.
    5. Follow the on-screen prompts to re-install your state program.

  • NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE
    COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS

    All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

    The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts, and money-market deposit accounts.
